| Our Labor and Delivery room |
We gave birth at Kaiser Sunnyside and they were amazing! In fact I'm feeling rather down about switching back to Providence now, we might even consider purchasing Kaiser insurance out of pocket when it comes time to have our next child.
I thought I would get together a collection of the picture and videos we took while in the hospital. We checked in at 6:00am on November 6th and checked out at 4pm on November 10th. It was a rather long stay, and unfortunately made Brian's time off feel a lot shorter. But the staff was wonderful and having a few extra days at the hospital helped up to become more comfortable with caring for a newborn. Almost all the family were able to come visit us at least once, and some dropped by a few times. Some people even came bearing gifts of sushi or beer! It was helpful to have some little treats to help us get by, because during the entire stay I don't think I ever got more the 30 minutes of sleep at a time. You can sometimes tell by my voice in these videos how tired I was. My voice has never sounded so low and slow before. It normally borders on obnoxiously perky.

| Too bad we wouldn't get to deliver here! |
Anyway, here is all the media we created while at the hospital. Check back again later, too, as I will scan in and add to the post copies of the Certificate of Birth and his foot prints when I get a chance.
